Artist
Kobe Borowetz (Emcee KB) is an independent Canadian hip-hop/pop artist. He is known for his creative beats, lyrics, and his interactions with his community. His most popular songs include 60 Minutes, Retro, and Night Sweats. He grew up in a rural area, far away from any music studios. He is from Saskatchewan, a province in Western Canada. Despite all this, Emcee managed to pursue his dreams and continues to make a living from his art. Emcee released his first song using GarageBand. It had 1,000 streams before eventually being taken down. Now, the earliest public release by Emcee is the Miled Out album. The name of his first release is redacted to preserve the exclusive nature of the Day 1 CD. Emcee would work with his University of Augustana college friends, Dennis (Pop Shuv') and Makenna Kuzyk (Mak<3) to independently produce music from their rooms. Emcee would transfer to the University of Alberta, where he would record and release Miled Out. Emcee gained traction after him and Pop Shuv' released Slow It Down, accumulating 40,000 streams very quickly. His life and career only continued to improve. He promptly wrote and released Great Escape, which now has over 6 million streams on Spotify alone. Emcee gained a lot of attention after releasing 60 Minutes, now having over 8.5 million streams on Spotify. Throughout this entire journey and many songs to come, Emcee has kept all of his music copyright-free, making it safe for streaming, remixing, and anything else you can think
