Before you is a creature with two heads. You are staring directly into the face of Embracing Abomination, and it's eyes are dead. It didn’t start off this way. No, the abominable duet was once a single man’s purpose. Over a year ago, Embracing Abomination was merely an on-the-side solo project for Brandon to express himself “without boundaries or creative restraint”. After much deliberation, Brandon looked toward a drummer/pianist/vocalist he had worked with in several previous bands and was also good friends with. When asked about the matter, Brandon noted: “I initially wanted to keep the duties to myself to limit the conflicts that come along with, you know, scheduling the writing of a record, practices, studio time, and all that other business. When you involve more and more people in a project, all of those things can become complicated; especially when the project isn’t at the point of being a full time job for everyone involved. But I soon discovered that I didn’t want to write and record an album by myself if the quality of the instrumentation was going to suffer. I am just one man, and that’s a huge undertaking. I’m pretty comfortable with where I stand musically whether it’s guitar or drums or whatever, but having someone to bounce ideas off
