During high school Andrew liked to open up Reason from time to time. At one point he even took up making music on a Gameboy. Embrace The Impact was the result of this hobby from around 2007 till late 2009. Shortly afterwards this thing called college came into play, and it all came to a halt. Notable achievements include releasing an EP named Lights around the time Lights (the artist) gained traction, resulting in around 10,000 mistaken downloads of his EP.
