Embla and the Karidotters is a Norwegian band led by Embla Karidotter and featuring Marie Moe, Simen Følstad Nilsen, Nils Jørgen Nilsen and Benjamin Rø Haavelsrud. After 13 years as a drummer in influential Norwegian indie band Razika, Embla Karidotter now leads her country and americana band the Karidotters. The band features Marie Moe (Razika, Slomosa) on bass, Nils Jørgen Nilsen (Honningbarna, The Needs) on drums, Tor-Arne Vikingstad (Sløtface) on guitar and Simen Følstad Nilsen (Aiming for Enrike) on lap steel. In 2023 E&TK performed at Stagecoach in California and at Norwegian festivals such as Øya and Vinjerock. 2024 kicked off at SXSW in Austin, Texas, before another summer of festivals.
