Singer and actress Elvira Ríos was born on 16 November 1914, in Mexico City, Mexico where she also died on 13 January 1987. She became famous in her country during 1930s & 1940s, both for her unique musical talent and her movies such as ¡Esos hombres! (1937). She made her Argentine film début in "Ven, Mi Corazon te Llama" (When My Heart Calls), spreading her fame all around Latin America. She had a part in the famous John Ford western "Stagecoach".
