Artist
Eltjo Haselhoff (1962) is a Dutch 'fingerstyle' guitarist and composer. He has played guitar since he was 8 years old, but has never had one single guitar lesson. He does not read or write music, although he plays several other musical instruments, besides the guitar. Haselhoff released his debut CD in 2005, Fingerstyle Guitar Solos, with the small label Peghead Productions. The CD was well received, particularly in the USA, where Haselhoff is sometimes compared with the late guitar maestro Chet Atkins. The music was appreciated by the fluent style and Haselhoff's strong sense of melody. Soon, the American label SolidAir Records picked Haselhoff's music for release in the USA. Eltjo Haselhoff is currently living in The Netherlands. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
