«"Els Berros de la Cort" is formed by a group of people coming from several companies belonging to live music, theatre and performances in the street - Trastobilis Teatre, Tripijoc, Grallers de la Muralla, Música Tradicional, Zitzània, Perpetrat, Diables de l'Onyar...- aiming to discover new ways for street performances. So, we decided, based on our individual experiences, to carry out a research on playing medieval music with the original instruments but with a new aproach based on today.s knowledge of music. As from 1993 we have been applying new patterns to medieval stagging and music; so,in 1997 we produced "Music and legends of medieval Europe", released in 1998 at "Terra de Trobadors" in Castellò d'Empuries. In the course of the following consecutive years we again participated in that festival with "The farce of the kings' nominations" and "The Wizzard's wits", always in street performances, live, with Music as the subject and main essence of the pageant. As from 2001 we consolidated ourselves as a musical itinerant show with a repertoire made of poignant medieval adaptations, so mighty and joyful as "Els Berros de la Cort". Our repertoire has shone in many revels and festivals re-creating a historical atmosphere: roman, arabic, medieval, renaissance, XVIIIth century... in our home town as well as in other places in Spain, France: Girona, Santander, Sòria, Valladolid, Alacant, Benidorm (Alacant), Balmaseda (Bilbao), Mora d'Ebre (Tarrragona) Gumiel de Hizan (Burgos),
