about

Growing up in rural Suffolk, England, Eloïse was always drawn to the more depressing and tragic roles over musical theatre. She sought out drama and emotional honesty of these roles and translated this into songwriting. Taking influence from Lady Gaga, David Bowie and Lana Del Rey she learned that making music could be like making a film, building a story and a world with characters. Eloïse is off to university but has already released an EP (Marie Antoinette) and 4 standalone singles. Linking up with producer Rory Simmons (Bat For Lashes, Will Young) she released her debut ‘Studio 54’ at the start of her final school year. Soon, tastemaker websites such as The Line of Best Fit and The 405 jumped on the song, lauding her sonorous, mature vocals. Eloïse’s brooding electronic pop is doused in satirical lyricism. She strives to evade the Instagram-filtered veil of pop culture and reveal something raw and honest. Eloïse’s music is a unique brand of “dark pop that always manages to be sinister, somehow,".
