ELLIE MAO MOK aka ELLIE MAO Mok received her training at Yenching University with a bachelor's degree from Julliard School in New York, Vienna and Teachers College and Columbia University. She has given numerous recitals in the United States, Paris, Vienna, the Caribbean, China and Hong Kong and as a soloist with several orchestras including Vienna's Radio Orchestra and Bach Society, Honolulu Symphony, Peking Symphony Orchestra and Shanghai Philharmonia and she performed frequently in concerts of vocal chamber music in New York and Eastern cities. As a master teacher, she was invited several times by the Chinese government to tour the music schools in China where she coached hundreds of students. Her methods of vocal technique spread to all schools in China, even to northwest regions of Gansu and Qinghai.
