October 2003, somewhere in the eastern part of Holland.. The concept of beginning a band starts to develop. Four good friends decide that they have had enough of playing other people's work. More than once they performed together in different bands and it became perfectly clear that there was a mutual 'vibe' going on between them. Musically as well as personally, despite of the variety in musical influences and big differences in personality, they get along with each other extremely well. Crossroads Studios in Borculo was booked on a weekly basis to write songs. Very quickly melodies started to develop in rough ideas, as well as in worked out 'endproducts'. The band gave a local try-out gig on the 23rd of january 2004 and decided, after a lot of positive reactions and constructive criticism, to continue in the course that was set. The band's style is best described as pop/rock, but groove is essential and here and there mixed with a healthy dose of funk. The second gig in febuary is a bandcompetition (Slag Om Paaspop) at the same time. The band scores very high, a second place. The jury comments that the songs are build up very well. Also Marjan's melody lines get positive remarks. After a year filled with a lot of gigs, Elister signs up again for "Slag Om Paaspop" and celebrates victory.
