Elisabeth Pixley-Fink is a Kalamazoo, MI-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist (keys, guitar, banjo and body), who grew up studying piano and singing shape note harmonies with her family. Elisabeth’s expressive playing creates a textured landscape for her well-crafted songs. From the depths and range of her voice emerge jumpy joyful ditties, tunes for healing, aching songs that swell with unhurried intensity. Elisabeth’s playful and moving performances have earned her a strong Michigan following. Her work is inspired by her experience as outdoor educator, gardener and dancer.
