Szymon Weiss is a founder of almost everything that's connected with Elektrische: Elektrische.TV - live electronic band of a unique and recognizable sound (wider described as intelligent/avantgarde electro). Powerful, nasty and truculent. Every sound on stage is created live. The singer is a 1990's TV set lip-synced to vocal samples. No sequencing, No cheating, only raw energy. Who will be the Elektrische.TV listeners? "Over couple of years of activity, although the music seems rather niche, I've received emails from a surprisingly wide range of people. The common idea is the interest in smart, innovative music, that keep your brain active! I belive that mass-media underestimate the intelligence of the mass-market believing that this market only wants moment-to-moment distraction. That has not been my experience." Recently Szymon is working on one-man-band project. Elektrische.Radio - Thursday's 8pm radio-shows on Irish Flirt FM 101.3fm (www.FlirtFM.ie) where with his guests he argues, adores, laughs and discovers music in order to make his audience smarter, more active and to gain a high quality taste, as opposed to what happens when listening to mass-commercial music.
