In 1991 Bastian Brinkcate, 11 years old at the time, received the first "experience" by the prodigy from a friend, the album had an instant effect on him which opened him to oldskool hiphop and breakbeats. in 1995 bastian bought a drum machine and hooked it to his computer and began experimenting, a few years later he met joris. they decided to start a formation called A-Hive " anarchistic hive", joris took care of scratching with dubs, bastian created acid styled beats. The both of them split up against there will, although they never lost contact with each other. Bastian continued experimenting till he decided to link up with old friends, R-Jay and Makuzan in 2000, Makuzan had his own home studio, they took bastian under there wing and taught him producing techniques. Frequently bastian played out at squat raves using a drum machine in company of keyboards and a hardware sampler, he also minded mcing or writing lyrics. In 2005 bastian wanted to find out how the rest of the world thought about the style he produced and he decided to create a demo cd after several non successful attempts of mastering the tunes at home by only using a headset, he got studio time from his friend r-jay. Bastian and r-jay managed to record and master his first demo cd, the tunes were sent to fizx-recordings and they took him under there wing.
