The Electracoustic project selects a crop of the best dance producers on the planet and commissions beats to which various well known muso's take a hand at jamming live. Imagine getting Bootsy Collins on stage to improvise with Roy Ayers, all jamming to beats by Masters at Work. This is the ethos of Electracoustic. The possibilities for the continuation of the project are innovative, exciting and provide a fresh approach to live recordings performed in the modern day setting of today's club scene. Amongst the core of musicians that have contributed to the first Electracoustic album, "Funkin Motion" so far include Simon Bartholomew of The Brand New Heavies, Nick Seymour of Acid Jazz's Akimbo, sessions players from Incognito, and Jamiroquai, and Aurora Dawn, who's worked with Roots Manuva and Nightmares On Wax.
