Elder Statesman was briefly in existence for a performance in Sound & Sense (MUS104) music class at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon, then disbanded. The band featured six classmates: Vocals and maraca-like egg shaking from Haleryn Buck, vocals and guitar from Matt Christiansen, percussion and alto-saxophone from Addie Bugbee, trumpet and xylophone from Daniel McDuff, piano from Brittany Roy, and Mike DePaul, miscellaneous extraordinaire. Having been disbanded, they currently do not have any plans to tour, but they have not ruled out an Elder Statesman reunion performance if there is enough demand.
