Elder Kindred was a progressive rock band based in England during the 1970's. Although there were several lineups, the most consistent was: Nick Hemery - guitar and vocals Simon Judd - keyboards Geoff Knibbs - bass and vocals Ivan Ward - sax, flute & percussion Vince Loakes - drums Kindred Spirits is a retrospective album released in 1998. "From one of the better early 70's band - this previously unreleased material shows the talent that lay within. Melodic time changing prog rock at it's best - arguably one of the finest bands not to get that all important deal." (Audio Archives Portal:Music) Sounds a bit like Happy the Man, flute and complex melodies. It is hard to believe a band this good only has eight tracks on a retrospective!
