Pupil of famous Russian pianist Dmitri Bashkirov, Eldar Nebolsin started his international career after his triumph at the 11th Santander International Piano Competition in 1992 where he got, besides the Grand Prix, the Prize for the best performance of Mozart concerto. In 2005 Eldar Nebolsin was awarded the Sviatoslav Richter Prize in the 1st edition of International Piano Competition in Moscow and again special Award for the best Mozart Concerto performance. Eldar played with the most famous orchestras around the world like the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Deutsches Symphonie Orchester, Vienna Chamber Orchestra, Orchestre de Paris, Gulbenkian Foundation Orchestra, Orchestra di Santa Cecilia in Rome, Orchestra of Spanish Radio and Television, Tokio Metropolitan Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, San Petersburg Philarmonic Orchestra and Moscow Philarmonic Orchestra with outstanding conductors as Ricardo Chailly, Yuri Temirkanov, Leonard Slatkin, Charles Dutoit, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Yakov Kreizberg, Vasili Petrenko, Vladimir Spivakov, Lawrence Foster, Mstislav Rostropovoch, Bernhard Klee, and many others. In addition to his solo piano career, Eldar usually plays a lot of chamber music. He has performed with outstanding musicians such as Julian Rachlin, Alexey Ougrinchouk, Katrin Scholz or Gustav Rivinius.
