El Torstro started out playing bass in 1999, going through the genres, but leaning heavily on the legacy of Primus and Faith no More. El Torstro played in several small bands, starting with punk, going to grunge, to classic psychedelia, to psychedelic metal, before he started the music collective "Den Fede" in 2007. The collective aims to serve as base for upcoming musicians, mainly El Torstro, Antik and Antistro, but also acts such as Antikooper and Coffefilter. 2007 also became the year El Torstro started publishing his electronic music, heavily relying on a wide array of machines and effects to produce melancholic downbeat triphop and electronica. Since then he has published a number of mp3 albums on the Reclab label, several of which have been published using his schizofrenic alterego Nestrot. El Torstro is currently involved in several experimenting projects out of "Den Fede" including both Cofeefilter and Antistro, while working on his next solo release.
