Ege van Kruysdijk was born on 15th May 1971 in Holland. When he was young he started as a DJ in some clubs around Eindhoven. Later he met Marcel Theunissen and then they started to produce their own music. They made some remixes for Dutch radio-programms like the "Ricksmix" Egma (made of the producers first names, Ege and Marcel) began as a Dutch techno project. 2 singles were released : Don't Have To Be Jesus and Let the Bass Kick (at the Mid-Town-label). Then they joined the eurodance movement, re-creating the project around a female vocalist, Margo, who had begun her career as a dancer, while she was studiing to become a dance teacher. The male singer (and co-writer) was as a model called Henk van de Wiel. Never Gonna Lose Your Love was a huge hit all over Europe (especially in France where it stayed #1 during 10 weeks) but surprisingly it was less successful in Holland (only 3 weeks in the Dutch charts). The trio appeared on the Dance Machine stage in Paris in June 1994. At this time Ege was DJ at disco-club Freebird (at this time this club was called Key-West) in Asten together with Ruud Van Rijen. Meanwhile Marcel was DJ in Eindhoven at disco-club Diamonds. After the single Love Is (position # 4 in Israel), the team changed : a new male singer, Michael Robby (born in 1974), joined the project.
