Effatha may reffer to: 1) A Christan Metal band from Europe, Croatia, from Rijeka Town. All members from our band are Catholics and devouted Christians. "We are the first christian power metal band from our Country, and we don't want to be the last." 2) A Polish Christian music band founded in 1996 in Christ the Saviour parish in Gdańsk Osowa. Initially, the band consisted of a couple of musicians providing musical liturgy on Sunday masses. In the course of time, its line-up has grown to a powerful group of about 30 enthusiastic young people. Since its inception, the band has recorded three albums - Święty Bóg i Król (2003), Effatha Live (2005) and Jak Boga Kocham (2008). Effatha continuously plays on Sunday masses for youth, occasionally gives large concerts and takes part in Christian music festivals. 3) Czech Christian Choir http://www.effatha.cz conjoined with Church of the Brethren.
