Eero Piirto (dir. cant.) (23 August 1932 Kurikka, Finland – 22 June 1995) was a farmer and bass-baritone singer from Kurikka. He became known especially as an interpreter of folk songs and hymns. Eero Piirto performed a lot together with master pelimanni (dir. music) Risto Ala-Ikkelä and he sang opera parts at the Ilmajoki Music Festival, for example in the operas Jaakko Ilkka, Jokiopera, 30 Hopearahaa and Field Man's Prayer, which conductor Jorma Panula composed for Eero Piirto to perform.
