Information on Edwick Rumbold is very limited. The band’s name was just given to them by their then manager. Edwick Rumbold was formed from the remnants of The Planet Set and the same lineup later became known as Free Ferry. In 1967 the band released the single “Shades Of Grey”/”Boggle Woggle” on the Parlophone label. “Boggle Woggle” was recorded as a promotional excercise for ICI’s then new range of psychedelic coloured dress material. Jeff Martin quickly came up with “Shades of Grey” as a B-side, which ended up becoming the A-Side. None of the photos of the band found online are correct. These photos are of another act altogether.
