The idea behind Edgar 9000 is to shape an introspective approach to music within the musical heritage of his beginnings with the means of today. Combining fire and ice - anlogue and digital in a cinemascope sound with a usual limit to not more than.. Born 1964 as Pino Grzybowsky. Lived in Germany, France and the U.S.A., now based in Munich/Germany. His musical education started in 1974 with learning on an electric organ. He heard his first Tangerine Dream record "Ricochet" in 1976, knowing from that point on, that he wants to play with synthesizers in the future. His first appearances as keyboarder in live-bands began in 1980 playing Korg and Moog synthesizers, a string-machine, the Hohner D6 Clavinet and the Fender Rhodes. Autodidactic learning of playing piano, Clavinet and keyboards and working with analogue synthesizers resulted in releasing tapes with own compositions of electronic music through fanzines in the early eighties. Also many co-compositions were done with different bands in the Frankfurt/Main area in Germany. 70ies Electronica, New Wave , the 80ies, Crossover and Funk played a big role in his musical growing-up. He bought the Atari 1024ST computer in 1987 and started to create tracks immediately. He stopped being a keyboarder for bands in 1992 and started to work with singers and guitar-players along with the computer under the project name "Baby Tigers". In 1995 he started to Dj and to release his first 12" EPs on labels like Superstition, Sony, Delirium an
