Ed Poole is a British bass player and composer. Poole played bass on Sam Brown's debut album, Stop! (1988). Poole joined British AOR band Romeo's Daughter and played on their second album, Delectable (1993). Poole began working with Bonnie Tyler in the 80s, and became her touring musical director. In 1994, Poole played bass on the debut album by British pop trio, Let Loose. Later in the 90s, Poole joined Deana Carter's live band during her UK tour. Poole features on Bonnie Tyler's 2002/2003 album Heart Strings. In 2004, Poole composed the music for Cloud Cuckoo Land, starring Sir Derek Jacobi. When Romeo's Daughter reformed in 2009, Poole rejoined the band and embarked on a UK tour, later featuring on their albums Rapture (2012) and Spin (2015). Poole left the band in 2018. Poole appears on Bonnie Tyler's live album In Berlin (2024). In the same year, he released his latest studio album, Seven.
