Artist
Christian Matthew Bermudez (born November 21, 2006), known professionally as Eazy Phantom, is an American rapper and singer-songwriter. Though controversial from his exploration in depressive subjects, Eazy Phantom has managed to gain a following within his career from such expression, whilst maintaining it as christ-centered music. Often criticized for his versatile sound, his music explores trap, R&B, lo-fi, hip hop, ambient and other minor genres. He has managed to be a figure in the Christian music scene striving on raw expression, which managed to garner attention during the quarantine era. Born in Colton, California, Eazy Phantom spent most of his childhood in San Bernardino. He discovered GarageBand and started learning music production In 2018, fiddling with licenced loops and effects such as reverb and distortion, drawing inspiration from artists like XXXTENTACION and Porter Robinson. In 2019, he had begun to learn the guitar due to a sudden interest in heavy metal music, and later on learned the piano, drums, and bass. He had started releasing music within the same year, but gained little to no attraction at the time, and has since been archived. After years of work, he managed to mark a checkpoint with his release of noetic, using a stylization that takes elements of lo-fi music and hip hop.
