1) Hard Life (formerly known as Easy Life) are an pop/funk band hailing from Leicester, United Kingdom. The band was formed in 2017 by frontman Murray Matravers, together with bassist, saxophonist, singer and school friend Sam Hewitt. Also in their ranks are Afrobeat-influenced drummer Olly Cassidy, guitarist Lewis Berry and Jordan Birtles, on percussion, keys and backing vocals. They released their debut single “Pockets” on November 22, 2017 through Chess Club Records. Due to the songs inclusion on the Fifa 19 soundtrack and all-round success, they subsequently signed to Island and continued to go from strength-to-strength; headlining the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury 2019 and featuring as Annie Mac’s ‘Hottest Record’ on BBC Radio 1 on 16th July 2019 with single “Earth”. They released their debut mixtape "Creature Habits" on April 12, 2018. Following the release of the singles "Frank" on July 11, 2018 and "Nightmares" in September 2018, the band appeared on Later... with Jools Holland. The band finished 2018 by releasing their fourth single, "Temporary Love Part 1" (with B-side "Temporary Love Part 2"), in December. They released their second mixtape, "Spaceships", containing the single "Sunday" in March 2019. They headlined the BBC Introducing stage at the Glastonbury Festival in June.
