Eastern Block is a Nashville band that was formed in the winter of 2007. The band consists of Aaron Ahlstrom on guitar and lead vocals, Jon Shearer on lead guitar, Jonathan Williams on drums and Sean Savacool on bass. The summer of 2008 saw the release of their self-titled EP followed by the release of their debut full length album, Past Palace, in the fall of 2009. The band has been building up a strong reputation as an incredible live band. The chemistry that everybody has with each other on stage is something reminiscent of a band that has been together for much longer than just a couple years. They continue to build up a good reputation and to play shows around the Nashville and surrounding areas. Keep an eye on this one!
