David Vallée founded EKS.CENTER in 2008, moving away from his previous project Lith by producing melodic and rhythmic electronic music, on the edges of Kraftwerk and Aphex Twin, influenced by IDM and Bass Music, New Wave and Detroit Techno, EKS.CENTER draws its inspiration from urban life, cinema, art, the history of technology. From his influences he subtly mixes contemporary and vintage, digital and analog, the present and memories of a carefree era. EKS.CENTER creates a visual universe that is its own, accompanies and prolongs its atmospheres with vintage looks to sublimate the emotion and depth.
