A veteran of the road, EG Kight has headlined at clubs and festivals, bringing her diverse musical menu to the fans in cities across America, and in Europe. EG Kight continues to tour, as a solo and with a band, and recently performed with a symphony orchestra one weekend, and three weeks later on NPR’S famed "A Prairie Home Companion". Her latest release, "It's Hot In Here" climbed to #1 on the roots blues charts, and on Sirius XM Satellite Radio. Honored with six Blues Music Award nominations, twice for Song of the Year, her songs have a universal reach. Kight's original composition won the People’s Choice Award in an international Peace Song Challenge, and she has written songs that landed on two Grammy nominated albums. Multi-talented EG Kight has shared the stage with a wide array of artists, including blues legends Koko Taylor, Hubert Sumlin, and Pinetop Perkins; country legends George Jones, Merle Haggard, Brenda Lee, and Becky Hobbs; pop/crossover icons Phoebe Snow, and Delbert McClinton; southern rock phenoms Gregg Allman, and Little Feat; Dixieland Jazz legend Pete Fountain's band; and most recently the Bloomsburg Symphony Orchestra; and the world renowned Garrison Keillor.
