DYNOMONK is a musical collaboration between DYNODOPE & JEDIMONK based in Jakarta, Indonesia. They first met in 2005 and liked the same kind of genre music. Their first album, BEAT HEADS was released in 2010 and the 2nd album HOKASHI in 2011 available for free download from http://dynomonk.bandcamp.com/ . They built on the skill with which they manipulates samples, taking rare and unheard pieces of music and reworking them into parts and phrases for their songs. Many of their tracks feature dozen of samples from a wide array of styles and influences including rock, soul, funk, experimental, electronic and jazz. DYNOMONK famously sampled Indonesian composer Broery Marantika, Bob Tutupoli, The Brims, A. Rijanto, Ect. DYNOMONK produced their music with turntable and Akai MPC 1000.
