about

DXWNSIDES are a Melodic Hardcore outfit hailing from Birmingham, UK. Described as "sadness soaked", the band's sound incorporates elements of Shoegaze, Pop Punk and Melodic Hardcore; utilising shimmering guitars, driving rhythms, softly sung vocals paired with aggressive unclean vocals; all drenched in dreamy reverbs. In combination with their signature sound, they also have a strong cinematic visual aesthetic to provide a more immersive and thematic experience for their listeners. Formed in 2017, the band quickly built up a loyal fanbase following a string of live shows alongside acts such as THECITYISOURS, Woes, Layover and Downcast with the support of respected promoters Surprise! You’re Dead, Halfway Home Promotions and Danger Close Records. On the 15th of January 2021, the group released the musical effort "I Will Never Be Enough". The record explores the themes of love, loss, anger, solitude and addiction; and over its nine tracks, the band embraces these emotions and channels them into a unique blend of energy and melodic melancholy. https://www.facebook.com/DXWNSIDESBHAM User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
