"Born 1937 in Minnesota. Currently residing in Lake Forest, Ca. Raised around the world. Lived in 40 some odd states, and a hand full of foriegn countries: Japan, Germany, Hong Kong, Phillipines, Okinawa, Ireland, England, Bermuda to name a few. Played on the Sunset strip in LA in the beatnik era, and in the coffee houses of San Francisco from the 50's to 1981. Quit in 1981, laid the guitar down and started again in 1995. Opened for John Lee Hooker Junior in his Orange County CA tour in 2004. Knew Dave Van Ronk, the Kingston Trio, Peter Rowan, Ramblin Jack Elliot, and let Richie Havens use my stage in the early 60's before he hit it at Woodstock.
