Dusk of Hope is an industrial ambient project from France, formed in 1995. Previously, there were several aborted projects such as Blut Und Eisen, a kind of monstruous child of Front 242's "Geography" and harsh noise. There was a first demo tape "Catharsis" in 1996 reviewed in several french industrial magazines (Nouvelles Harmonies, Oméga, Noising Therapy). "Fin de Millénaire" is issued by the italian label Slaughter Productions in the fall of 1997 on a tape described as "delicate obscure sounds for a perfect apocalypse vision inside your room". In 2001, the track "Autopsie" is on the "La Liste Noire" sampler from the french label Dictature with Catharsis, Chöd, Ilhevs, Dernière Volonté, Taedium Vitae, Blasterkorps and IC-K. In 2003, two unreleased tracks takes place on the "Like Music to their Ears - Vol.1" sampler, with several french and belgian musicians, issued by Mechanoise Labs : One by Dusk Of Hope with "Expériences sur Matériel Humain", and you'll also find the first appearence of an ephemeral side-project named Inoculation, with a more noisy material : "Dead End". At last, in 2005, the first full-length CD "Flexible Response" is out on Hermetique, the label of Propergol, RadioDrama and Post-Scriptvm, and comes in a DVD box with inserts. In 2006, 2 tracks are released on the first Hermetique sampler "A Reassuring Voice on the Television", an 'electric version' of "Arkan" (originally on the first album), and one exclusive track, "Etat d'urgence".
