There are multiple artists by the name Dune: 1. Dune is a German rave band founded in 1995 by Oliver Froning and Jens Oettrich. The group took its name from Frank Herbert’s science fiction novels. Their debut single, "Hardcore Vibes," featured vocals by Froning’s 11-year-old cousin, Janine. The follow-up single, "Are You Ready to Fly?," introduced the band's signature style characterized by high-pitched vocals and catchy melodies. In 1996, they released the album "Forever," which featured classical-style compositions performed with the London Session Orchestra.
