Artist
Duncan Proctor sings about train journeys, adventures in far away countries, the embarassing things his friends do and say, nights out in small towns and his dreams of what might have been if things had turned out differently. He rarely takes himself too seriously, he doesn't always take others that seriously either but he still knows how to write a love song. His music is the sound is of fingers on well worn strings, trumpets and xylophones, a snare hit with battered hot rods, clicks and scrapes, laughter and flash photography. Influenced by Nick Drake, Iain Archer, the Bluetones, the Lightning Seeds, Cast, Belle and Sebastian, Jack Johnson, the Beatles, Blur, Jose Gonzalez, Idlewild, Snow Patrol, Athlete, Elliot Smith, The Reindeer Section, Turin Brakes User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
