Dulce Nunes is a Brazilian singer that started her career as an actress in the 50's. Dulce was married with the pianist Bene Nunes, an active pianist on the 50's that took part of Bossa Nova since the beginning. With Bene, Dulce had contacts with several musicians and decided to start a career as a singer. She recorded three albums as a singer, one of which, "Samba do Escritor", had the participation of Momento Quatro, Edu Lobo, Nara Leao, Joyce and Gracinha Leporato and also landmarks the first Egberto Gismonti engagement as arranger (was the first Gismonti record). As a matter of fact, Dulce Nunes was married with Gismonti and had some other complimentary activities as a producer and Gismonti's partner at the label Carmo.
