Duketown Dogs plays its own material from the albums "Snakehat" and "Chasing Tail" along with covers from such blues heroes as Willie Dixon, Leroy Carr and Albert King to mention only a few. The Blues that the Duketown Dogs are playing can best be described as a crossover between blues and big rock. This Dutch band plays their Blues to the outer limits. Particularly impressive are the extra-ordinary guitar playing and singing qualities. Duketown Dogs released two albums. The last one called "Chasing Tail" released in October 2010 by German company BSC Music. This album has been declared (Dutch Blues Foundation) to the fifth best blues album of 2010, this after a release of only three months.. Who are the Duketown Dogs? Singer Ron G alias The Duke: Began his career in his hometown Duketown. He started out singing the blues with a band called Linx before switching to rock. The Duke founded a rock band where he howled and screamed fans into a frenzy for many satisfying years. Duke has now returned to his roots with Duketown Dogs where he continues to sing with the fabulous instrument that is his voice.
