Artist
There are, at least, three bands known as Duck and Cover: 1) A multinational avant-rock septet, founded in Germany in 1983, comprising: Chris Cutler (UK), Heiner Goebbels + Alfred Harth (FRG, of Cassiber), Tom Cora (US, of Skeleton Crew), Fred Frith (UK, also of Skeleton Crew), Dagmar Krause (FRG, of Art Bears) & George Lewis (US of ICP Orchestra). The ensemble was initially commissioned for the 1983 Moers Festival, at the request of festival director Burkhard Hennen to Alfred Harth. 2) A Danish band in the style of US country pop from the forties and fifties with western swing and hillbilly boogie influences. Their debut "The Pasadena Recordings" was released in March 2010.
