Duck Feet Cold Light System is the current solo music project produced by ex-Gentle Ben bassist and Clever Bunny collaborator Jamie Davies-Evans, resident in Kent, UK. Jamie Davies-Evans combines eclectic influences, lo-fi, acousmatic, tape music, early Can, experimental bands such as Dome, soundtracks from Len Lye animations, faded 70's TV theme tunes, world music polyrhythm, welsh crwth folk music, early punk, The Fall, Captain Beefheart and more recently the psychedelic beauty found in contemporary freak folk. Jamie Davies-Evans sets out to produce sounds from primary sources, whether modified vocals, instrumentation or field recordings. It’s early days and initial Duck Feet Cold Light System audio sketches are very lo-fi, more will come very soon.
