The Dubious Brothers began and ended far too soon. They were the Martin Peters of their generation.Ten years ahead of their time or was it eighty years behind? Tangoes, foxtrots and waltzes were set to up-to-date swipes at polite society. Click here to see what the press thought of them. The Dubious Brothers were at various times, Monty, Steve Williams, David O'Brien, David Bird and Dominic Matthews. Their records are long since deleted. You may get them at inflated prices on ebay (Β£110 for Absolute Bethlehem recently). The "Best of CD" came out in 2009 on Plastilina Records (based in Peru; the first song of the collection is titled 'South America Welcomes the Nazis'). Watch out for Dave, Steve and Dave in The Love Train . User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
