There are at least two artists with the name Dubby: 1) an Australian alternative recording artist; 2) an American hip hop artist. 1) Dubby is the moniker of an Australian recording artist. His own unique style of music draws from a wide range of influences in indie rock/art rock, post-rock, dream pop, shoegaze, and even midwest emo. His debut album "Taxiing" is set to be released at some point. 2) Eric Thomas (DUbbY) was born in Orlando Florida 20 years ago, and now calls Cincinnati (West Chester) home. DUbbY picked up rapping around the age of 16 with his old computer and mic from rock band plugged right in. Needless to say, things have been picking up fast, his first mixtape titled - Hi, Im Dubby - (Hosted by Dj IllWill) dropped Feb 5 2010 @ HotNewHipHop.com & gathered a lot of attention as well as downloads.
