Artist
Dušan Grúň (*1942 in Žilina, Slovakia) is a living legend of Slovak pop music. He excels at every music genre he has ever tried his hand at, but is best known for his renditions (in Slovak) of traditional gospel, country and pop standards such as "Green Green Grass of Home" and "Delilah". He has recorded hundreds of hit songs in Slovakia and spawned a number of cheap clones, such as the miserable moustache-sporting loser, Robo Kazík, and the tireless producer of bland muzak, Peter Stašák. Grúň is also well known for his impeccable fashion sense, best illustrated by his frequent use of slick, stylish wigs and his celebrated live performances. His fans, the self-styled "gruniacs", are often seen wearing tuxedos and maroon wigs in tribute to the artist.
