Drowning at Dawn is a small town, local band from Galveston, Texas. Drowning at Dawn consists of lead vocalist, guitarist, and lyricist, Ja'Cory Lavine, Pianist, guitarist, lyricist, and backup vocalist, Andrew Guidry, and guitarist, drummer, and lyricist, Cassie Olguin. These three teenagers have always been different in there own way, and all it took was for these three people to meet each other and form the Pop/Emo/Alternative Rock band entitled Drowning at Dawn. Although, the early version of the band (formed on November 2, 2010) did not consist of these three members, they finish what was started with lead Vocalist, Macy Jordan, bass guitarist, Eric Gonzalez, lyricist, Dane Nguyen, guitarist and drummer, Kyron Huey, and guitarist, lyricist, and backup vocalist, Ja'Cory Lavine. The semi-middle version of the band was constructed around February of 2011 and consisted of only Macy Jordan, who was also a lyricist back then, guitarist, Matthew Worthen, and Ja'Cory Lavine acting as everything he was in the previous version of the band. As you can see Eric, Kyron, and Dane were no longer members of the band but of course that didn't stop them. Music was still being made and that had never changed. The garage band that was made in 2010 (Ja'Cory, Macy, Eric, etc.) had released their first album entitled 'According To Us'.
