Dresden War Crimes were formed in Melbourne, Australia by Graeme Wood (Vocals) and Greg Osborne (Guitar) in 1979. The band started gigging under the name of "Bombs Over Dresden" in 1980. They changed the name later in the year as well as some of the other original members. Meredith Simpson joined playing Keyboards and Clarinet, Rick Hastewell on Bass and Charles Meo on Drums. They only released one EP (Cassette only) in early 1981 before breaking up later the same year. Rick went on to play with "Sing Sing" "Beachouse" "Polar1500" and "Skippy the Butcher" Charles was previously in "The Ears" and went on to play with "Wailing Wall" and "Olympic Sideburns" Graeme, Greg and Meredith were never seen again.
