Degradée was a Brazilian new wave & synth pop band from the 1980s that followed a new wave line, with lots of keyboards and humorous lyrics. Emerging in the undergroud scene in São Paulo, they gained national notoriety due to the hit "Mais Que Um Sonhador", which became a hit in nightclubs in the 1980s, and was the theme of the popular TV soap opera Um Sonho a Mais, in 1985, the song was re-recorded by Wander Taffo and his band on their 1996 album Lola. The band was formed by Rogério Rego (vocals and guitar), Tom Marsh (vocals and guitar), Dudu Maroti (keyboards), Luiz Marcello (bass) and Salvador Rocca (drums).
