Dreams Forever Drowning was formed in November of 2001 by a group of friends who did not know much about playing in bands. The original lineup was so messed up that it had Anthony on drums, their friend Angelo filling in playing random guitar parts, DM on bass and Annmarie on vocals, being her first band. Thanks to www.hardcorewebsite.net, Jake and Derrick were found and the band was put together, Jake on guitar, Anthony on guitar, DM on bass, Derrick on Drum and Annmarie singing. Their first song written together was "As If A Second Self", which became a fan favorite, and eventually became a music video production in early late 2003. Jon joined the band to replace DM on bass in late 2003. The band put out 3 releases, a demo, 7 song EP and 4 song unreleased. They played numerous shows (an actual count is not known) in the 3 years together, up and down the east coast. The final lineup of Dreams Forever Drowning was Jake, Annmarie, Jon, Anthony, Dan.
