Dream Command was a briefly lived, ill-fated alter ego for The Comsat Angels (Formed in Sheffield England) Consisting of four members (lead guitar and vocalist Stephen Fellows, bassist Kevin Bacon, drummer Mik Glaisher and keyboardist Andy Peake). In 1982, they began receiving legal threats from the Communications Satellite Corporation (A United States of America based corporation) thanks to their name, which was actually taken from a short story written by J.G. Ballard. The issue made serious leap when the United States-based company received word of the band's attempt to tour the United States in the early 1980s. From that point forth, the band was forced to perform and release their records in the States under a different name, the C.S. Angels. After being marketed in different countries under various different names, the band opted to go with Dream Command for 1990's Fire on the Moon, which their Record Label at the time: Island Records ended up releasing in the United States and Holland only. Shortly afterward the band temporarily disbanded. The members would re-group a couple years later and return to making music for themselves rather than their label.
