If you asked Owen aka "Dragon Slayer" in 2000 where he picture himself in five years he would have probably describe a totally different scene from the one he's painting now. Never in his wildest dreams could he have imagined he'd be singing Christian Reggae and calypso, and far less be a Christian! Yet here we are in 2006, and Owen, also known as Dragon Slayer, has released “Slaying Time” Originally from Guyana but currently living in Barbados, His home church is Love & Faith Ministries Inc, Barbados ‘5 years as a Christian'. Dragon Slayer is presently using his 5 years of experience in the music business to produce an 17 track album with message that is strong and clear. God is King over! And every demon will be slain at the Name of Jesus Christ! Dragon Slayer is a multi-talented artiste who not only wrote all the on this album, but also but also arrange and co-produce them. Apart from being in the studio, and arrange song for other artists, he also ministered at many churches in Barbados, as well as The Healthy Lifestyle Gala 2003 held in queens Park and he'd receive an award for the best gospel song in the REVO-DUB-A-LUTION competition 2004 and was a semifinalist at the Pic-o-de crop semifinals 2005.
