Hailing from the North-East of England, 4 friends in various bands bored of what they were listening to and playing craved something new, fresh, raw and real. Out of this collective feeling and a shared love of the grog and good times, Dragnet was formed. Forming in late 2007 Dragnet erupted onto the scene playing a handful of blistering live performances before entering the studio. They have quickly made a name for themselves and are currently in the process of booking more shows as well as putting the finishing touches to their new 4 track CD. Made up of RORY on Guitar and Lead Vocals, GEORGE on Guitar and Vocals, DANNY on Bass and CHRIS on Drums - Dragnet make "Heavy alternative music with melodic tendencies, thundering grooves and epic choruses. The music is accessible, raw and real" Not wanting to box in or limit themselves though, Dragnet want everybody in and try not to align with any scene, style or genre. "Everybody is welcome we'll leave it up to you to decide what we are and more importantly, if your in." The stage is home, the studio is bliss and they quite simply know no other way of living.
