Dj Dr_UPs aka Mc Ignat Gorazd is a member of Värka Kru, which is a team of Latvian born jungalists, promoters/producers of ragga jungle culture events. Providing masses with quality selection with a variety of positive electronic bass music since 1997. Ignat, DJ, MC, has started his public music activity in 1996 as a sound fx man, spicing up live concerts, performances and dj sets. His music production experiments are based on a live sound decay and deconstructions mixed up in a various proportions. Recorded alone and in a collaboration with artists of various background and disciplines. This has brought up to life some trippy and atmospheric sound works: "Sun Rays In A Space" and "Who Are You?", "Chuska Meli Slepjas Zale", "Lec Why Nelec" to name a few. Recently, Ignat has enjoyed mingling together different styles of music, from roots and culture reggae to modern minimal electronic, dub, experimental to schraunz, tekno and breakcore. Performing at clubs, squats, festivals and fringe theatre scene both as an audio and visual artist. Being Värka's MC, Ignat Gorazd has originated a unique "Riggamuffin" style, which has similarities to Raggamuffin style. Riggamuffin is named after the name of his native city - Riga. Ignat Gorazd is dedicated to the development of non-commercial underground scene. Encouraging youth with healthy and environmentally friendly lifestyle. Based in West London at the moment.
